We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and ambitious teacher to join our school as Head of Business Studies and Economics from January 2027. Leading a successful department with a history of strong outcomes, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Business and Economics education within our school. This role would suit an exceptional classroom teacher ready for their first leadership position, as well as an experienced Head of Department looking for a fresh opportunity to make a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and the wider school community.
Our ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and deep subject expertise to inspire learners at every stage, from early confidence-building to stretching the most able, ensuring that students achieve excellence at both GCSE and A Level. As a key member of our middle leadership team, the Head of Business Studies and Economics will be at the heart of shaping our school's academic vision. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders and the pastoral team, guiding a talented department and cultivating an environment where staff feel valued, supported, and empowered to deliver exceptional teaching. You will lead with clarity and purpose, ensuring that high-quality pedagogy, innovation, and inclusion underpin everything we do.

Salary will be paid in accordance with the United Learning Teachers' Pay Scale from £36,400 to £53,040 per annum FTE, depending on previous years' experience.
