    We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspiring Head of Business Studies with a passion for the subject to lead our thriving department. The successful candidate will combine excellent leadership and management skills with deep subject knowledge, excellent teaching and learning knowledge across KS3, KS4, and KS5. You will be committed to fostering a love of Business Studies and promote opportunities for students to broaden their understanding through enterprise activities, workplace visits, and enrichment experiences., We are looking for a leader who is:
  • Experienced in teaching Business Studies across all key stages, with a proven track record of excellent student outcomes.
  • Able to lead and inspire a department, setting high expectations and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Knowledgeable about current research-informed practice and able to translate this into outstanding classroom teaching.
  • Committed to developing best practice approaches to curriculum, teaching, assessment, and enterprise opportunities.
  • Passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that develop curiosity and a lasting enthusiasm for Business Studies.
  • Able to model professional integrity, resilience, and strong organisational skills.
  • A collaborative leader who contributes to the wider school community and supports whole-school priorities.
  • Dedicated to their own professional growth, with aspirations for further leadership development.
