Our vision is to deliver exceptional learning experiences, driven by innovation, inclusion and employability.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Admissions & Registry to join us on a 3-month fixed-term contract during the key enrolment period of the year. This is a hands-on role for someone with Further Education (FE) and/or Higher Education (HE) admissions and registry experience who can quickly integrate into the team.

You will lead our Registry function, overseeing admissions, enrolment, exams, timetabling and student finance, while ensuring excellent student service, regulatory compliance and efficient operations. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you'll provide strong leadership, drive service improvements and support our students through a critical recruitment and enrolment period.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to hit the ground running from day one.

About you

Qualifications: Relevant degree. Evidence of CPD. English & Maths: minimum GCSE grade 4 (Grace C) or equivalent. IT related qualification is desirable.

Experience: Experience in FE Registry, MIS or a similar function, including line management of teams, developing and implementing administrative systems, and working directly with students. Experience using CRM systems and project managing the implementation of systems within an education environment is desirable.

Expertise: Strong knowledge of FE student information systems, funding and ILR requirements, admissions, enrolment and registry processes, and timetabling/resource planning. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, with an understanding of technical systems, databases and system integration. Knowledge of Civica REMS, CRM systems and SharePoint is desirable.

Skills: Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience building effective relationships and working collaboratively with senior stakeholders. Confident in planning, prioritising and producing clear, concise reports.

Values: Customer-focused, proactive, adaptable and collaborative, with a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering an excellent learner experience.

If you feel your skills and experience would fit well within our team and you meet many, but not all of our listed qualifications for this role, please apply or get in touch with our Recruitment Team to discuss further.
