Full Job Description

Lead and motivate the kitchen team
Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals
Ensure all dietary and nutritional requirements are met
Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
Manage stock, ordering and food costs
Work closely with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met
Create menus that offer variety and choice

Previous experience as a Head Chef, Chef Manager or Senior Sous Chef
Experience working in a care, healthcare, hotel, restaurant or contract catering environment
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene
Good understanding of special dietary requirements
A caring, organised and hands-on approach
