Full Job Description
We're looking for a talented and driven Head Chef to join the team at the Dog & Fox in Wimbledon, working closely under an experienced Executive Chef to deliver a standout food offering. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Senior Sous or existing Head Chef who thrives in a busy, premium pub environment and is ready to lead from the front while continuing to develop under senior guidance. What you'll be doing:
- Leading the kitchen team day-to-day, ensuring consistently high standards
- Working alongside the Executive Chef to deliver seasonal, fresh, and commercially successful menus
- Managing GP, stock control, and kitchen budgets effectively
- Training, developing, and motivating your team
- Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards
- Driving service quality during high-volume periods
Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous ready to step up - A passion for fresh, seasonal food and modern British pub dining
- Solid understanding of kitchen financials (GP, labour, stock)
- A natural leader who can inspire and develop a team
- Calm under pressure with strong organisational skills
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from an Executive Chef
