Head Bartender

We are looking for an experienced Head Bartender to help lead our bar team. As a natural people person, you will be engaging, have a thirst for excellence and keep abreast of changing trends. You will offer a fun and relaxed atmosphere to guests and the team alike, to deliver an outstanding beverage offering at Mortimer House., + Assist the Bar Manager to lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver consistent and high-quality service.
+ Help to oversee day-to-day bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
+ Take drink orders and serve guests with efficiency and accuracy.
+ Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages & assist with barista duties during peak periods.
+ Maintain a clean and organised bar area according to established guidelines and ensuring all supplies are well-stocked.
+ Handle cash transactions and accurately process payments.
+ Engage with customers, build rapport, and ensure their overall satisfaction.
+ Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, new coffee blends, and brewing techniques.

+ Proven experience as a Head Bartender or Senior Bartender
+ Excellent knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and presentation.
+ Confident leader with excellent communication and people-management skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
+ Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
