Full Job Description

  • Lead the barista station to ensure smooth, efficient service
  • Maintain high standards in coffee quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Support front-of-house operations and enhance the overall guest experience
  • Demonstrate strong coffee knowledge, including beans, brewing, and equipment
  • Contribute to seasonal and evolving beverage offerings, including non-alcoholic options
  • Deliver warm, engaging service and confidently recommend drinks to guests
  • Build rapport with guests and create a welcoming environment
  • Supervise, train, and support barista and front-of-house team members
  • Oversee barista station setup, cleanliness, stock control, and equipment maintenance
  • Uphold health, safety, hygiene, and company standards while fostering a positive team culture

    Experience as a Senior Barista or Head Barista
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment
  • Passion for quality, consistency and guest experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    We're looking for a Head Barista to lead the coffee and barista function at The Conduit - one of London's leading private members' clubs. You will be responsible for ensuring consistently high-quality beverages, strong service standards and an engaging guest experience.
    • This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will take ownership of the barista station during service, support and develop the team, and champion a coffee offering that reflects quality, craft and attention to detail. Birchwood at The Conduit, led by chef Will Devlin, is a brand-new cafe and wine bar that will bring a fresh, ingredient-led approach rooted in seasonality and sustainable sourcing.
