Head Barista

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and inspiring the barista team to deliver an exceptional Ralph's Coffee experience
• Setting the standard for coffee quality, presentation and customer service
• Coaching and developing the team, building their confidence and coffee knowledge
• Ensuring consistent drink preparation and adherence to Ralph's Coffee recipes and standards
• Supporting the daily operation of the café, including opening and closing procedures
• Driving sales and identifying opportunities to maximise performance
• Supporting stock management, ordering and availability to minimise shortages and waste
• Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and operational standards
• Supporting monthly self-audits and ensuring any actions are followed through
• Monitoring equipment and escalating maintenance requirements when needed
• Leading by example during peak trading periods and ensuring the team is deployed effectively
• Creating a positive, welcoming and high-performing team environment
• Working closely with the wider Ralph Lauren team to deliver a seamless customer experience
  
  Previous experience as a Head Barista, Senior Barista or hospitality supervisor
• Strong speciality coffee knowledge and excellent barista skills
• Experience leading, coaching or developing a team
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service
• Strong attention to detail and high standards
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how great operations support sales and profitability
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
• A proactive, hands-on approach - you'll be someone who sees what needs to be done and gets involved
