Haringey Community Occupational Therapist - Band 6

We are seeking a motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist who would enjoy working in a small friendly team dedicated to Occupational Therapy (OT) provision for Haringey Community Mental Health Services. Please apply or call for futher information, if you are interested., The post holder will hold a case load and work as an Occupational Therapist across Haringey adult community mental health services, to provideassessment, plan and implement interventions, evaluate treatment and ensure safe discharge. They will offer time limited interventions with clear goals, using a recovery-focused approach that enhances daily living skills and supports engagement in meaningful and purposeful activities, for service users across the community. The occupational therapist will be deputy to the Lead and will mentor the Band 5 OT, whilst working closely with the supporting clinical team and offering clinical supervision to other junior staff in the MDT, including Employment Support.

This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
