Hardware Engineer Apprentice

Introduction

We are offering a long term opportunity to join a successful expanding IT company. We are looking for two enthusiastic individuals who have an interest in computer hardware and display an aptitude for learning. The successful candidates will work in house on a variety of computer and networking hardware. 

About the Employer

IT company based in Witney providing IT hardware solutions for refurbished equipment, system upgrades, installation and decommissioning , break/fix maintenance, technical support and training.

What You'll Do

• Testing computer equipment and recording the test results on our bespoke internal system
• Learn to assemble, configure and install major brand server hardware and peripherals
• Investigate, diagnose and troubleshoot a wide variety of problems, with network and computer hardware, device driver and operating systems
• Configure and install network hardware(switches and routers)
• Audit and test a wide variety of machines producing audit reports for clients

• Permanent positions available progressing from Junior through to Senior Hardware Engineers
