Full Job Description
- Manage and supervise a team of engineers and specialist subcontractors
- Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met
- Monitor and enforce contract obligations
- Ensure engineer reports are completed promptly upon fault identification
- Monitor and maintain spreadsheets used by the engineering team
- Liaise with the Admin team on a daily basis
- Stand in for the Hard Services Manager during periods of absence
- Oversee day-to-day engineering operations and workflow
- Take part in the on call rota 1 week in 4, We're also committed to ensuring that all applicants and colleagues receive fair treatment without discrimination on any grounds, aiming to create a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
Ability to pass DBS check - Proven supervisory or team management experience
- Knowledge of statutory compliance and contract management
- Strong understanding of engineering operations and maintenance
- Ability to manage and coordinate specialist subcontractors
- Proficient in spreadsheet monitoring and data management
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
- Ability to work hands-on as a working supervisor
- Capable of deputising for senior management
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Electrical Background with 18th Edition & Test and Inspect cert with a minimum of 2yrs experience
