Better places, thriving communitiesROLE: Fabric Technician / Maintenance OperativeHours: 40 hours, What You'll Be DoingAs a Fabric Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping our buildings safe, functional, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include:

-Carrying out planned and reactive general maintenance tasks.

-Supporting engineers with planned and reactive maintenance activities as required.

-Undertaking building fabric maintenance, including painting and decorating works.

-Performing basic locksmith duties.

-Escorting FM visitors, suppliers, and subcontractors around site.

-Completing additional duties as directed by the Supervisor.

-Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and customer service at all times.

Reliable, practical, and hands-on.

-Able to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.

-Organised with good time management skills.

-Willing to learn new skills and support colleagues when needed.

-Comfortable carrying out physical and practical work.

-Positive, proactive, and customer-focused.

It's a Bonus If You Have

-Basic joinery or locksmith experience.

-Painting and decorating skills.

-Previous experience in building fabric maintenance activities.

-Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.

-Experience within facilities management, maintenance, or a similar environment.
