We encourage early applications to ensure consideration for a post., An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Gynaecology department at Glangwili General Hospital for a waiting list coordinator in the Aberglasney Suite.
The role is primarily responsible for the administration of the waiting lists for patients requiring appointments and gynaecology procedures.
The Aberglasney suite undertake outpatient appointments and procedures in house, such as hysteroscopy, polypectomy and colposcopy., Working in a busy office you will be responsible for the administration and organisation of gynaecological outpatient waiting lists. As first point of contact within the office you will have strong telephone communication and interpersonal skills. With a friendly and resourceful nature, you will be able to prioritise your workload. Sometimes dealing with sensitive and delicate issues.
Supporting the gynaecology care suite staff to achieve excellent teamwork., The Health Board is committed to supporting its staff to fully embrace the need for bilingualism thereby enhancing patient and service user experiences. In our commitment to increase the number of staff who are able to communicate in Welsh with patients and professionals, we welcome applications from Welsh speakers.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Our 12,000 members of staff provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services to almost 400,000 people across a quarter of the landmass of Wales. Four main hospitals: Bronglais General in Aberystwyth, Glangwili General in Carmarthen, Prince Philip in Llanelli and Withybush General in Haverfordwest.
