We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Gynaecological Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Gynaecology Oncology team within the Women's Health Division.This is a rewarding role for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred cancer care and making a meaningful difference to the lives of women affected by gynaecological cancer. Working within a supportive and highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to develop specialist expertise, influence patient experience, and contribute to the ongoing development of a dynamic oncology service.We are looking for a compassionate, motivated and resilient individual with excellent communication, clinical assessment and organisational skills. professional development, advanced practice and involvement in service improvement, education and innovation.This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse seeking to further develop a career in cancer care within a specialist surgical oncology setting that values collaboration, excellence and continuous improvement., The post holder will provide specialist nursing support to women undergoing investigation and treatment for gynaecological cancers, acting as a key worker and point of contact throughout their cancer pathway. Working across surgical and oncology services, including patients receiving neoadjuvant treatment, you will support care coordination, patient education, symptom management and decision-making.

You will undertake holistic assessments, identify and respond to complex physical, psychological and supportive care needs, and ensure patients and their families receive timely information and support. The role requires close collaboration with surgeons, oncologists, allied health professionals and wider support services to facilitate seamless, safe and effective care.

The successful candidate will use advanced communication and clinical skills to advocate for patients, support informed choice and contribute to improved patient outcomes and experience. You will also play an active role in service development, quality improvement, audit, education and the implementation of evidence-based practice.

This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who is committed to delivering excellence, driving improvement and supporting the continued development of specialist gynaecological oncology services.
