Full Job Description

The Senior Electrician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and statutory compliance of electrical systems across both school sites. Working as part of the in-house Estates team, the role provides specialist technical expertise and supports the delivery of high-quality maintenance and installation services, reducing reliance on external contractors.

The Senior Electrician is responsible for leading electrical maintenance, compliance, and installation work across both sites.

You will provide experienced technical expertise within the in-house team, ensuring electrical systems are safe, fully operational, and meet all required standards while delivering both routine and specialist electrical works, including remedial and statutory tasks.

We offer a broad range of staff benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, fee remission for children, free lunch, use of wide-ranging school facilities - swimming pool, tennis, walks, trails, etc. - and excellent social and sporting events.

Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week; 5-in-7 working may be required to support operational needs.

Should you wish to discuss the role in strict confidence, please feel free to contact Lidia Pocock, Director of Estates, on pocockl@lordwandsworth.org.
