Group Procurement Manager

As a Group Procurement Manager, you will develop and deliver strategic procurement plans across defined spend categories, ensuring the best balance of cost, quality and service. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own category strategies, manage supplier relationships, lead procurement activity from sourcing through to contract management, and support the development of colleagues across the team. Based at our Birmingham Head Office, the role includes travel to suppliers and sites as required., Our Birmingham Head Office brings together central and group functions that support the wider 2 Sisters Food Group business. • Develop and implement category strategies to deliver business objectives and savings targets
• Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, tendering, negotiations and contract management
• Build and maintain senior-level supplier relationships and performance standards
• Track market and commodity data to support commercial decision-making and risk management
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver value
• Support, coach and lead team members while contributing to cross-functional projects
  
  Strong procurement with proven category management experience
• Direct line management and leadership experience
• Excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills
• Proactive, self-sufficient approach with a positive attitude
• CIPS qualification and indirect procurement experience would be advantageous
