Group Financial Controller

The RoleAs Group Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the group's financial reporting and control framework, ensuring the integrity of financial information and supporting effective decision-making across the business.Key responsibilities will include:Financial LeadershipLead, mentor and develop the finance teamFoster a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvementPartner with senior leaders across the organisationProvide expert financial guidance and constructive challengeFinancial Reporting & ControlLead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cyclesOversee group consolidations and statutory accounts preparationEnsure robust balance sheet management and reconciliationsMaintain strong financial controls and governance frameworksDrive improvements to finance systems, reporting and processesCommercial Finance & Business PartneringLead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting activitiesDeliver insightful financial analysis and performance reportingSupport

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant with strong technical expertise and a proven track record in financial leadership.Essential RequirementsACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualificationSignificant experience in a Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Senior Finance Manager positionStrong experience in group reporting, financial control and statutory accountsProven leadership and people management experienceExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong commercial acumen and analytical capabilityExperience improving financial processes, systems and controlsAbility to manage multiple priorities while delivering to tight deadlinesDesirable ExperienceMulti-entity or group structure experienceMergers, acquisitions or business integration projectsTreasury, cash flow and working capital managementFinance systems implementation or optimisationExperience supporting business growth and transformation initiatives
