Are you an experienced cleaning professional with a strong background in managing multi-site operations? We're looking for a hands-on Group Cleaning Manager to oversee service delivery across a portfolio of four sites, two main locations and two supporting satellite sites. About the role As Group Cleaning Manager, you'll lead and coordinate cleaning operations across 4 locations, managing a team of approximately 30 colleagues. You'll be the key point of contact for the client, ensuring consistently high standards, strong team performance, and seamless day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in industrial environments who thrives in a fast-paced, operational setting and is passionate about driving standards, compliance, and team engagement. What you'll be responsible for
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of around 30 cleaning colleagues across four sites
- Overseeing day-to-day cleaning operations, ensuring consistently high standards across all locations
- Acting as the main point of contact for the client, building strong and trusted relationships
- Managing and resolving escalations quickly and professionally
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety standards, policies and procedures
- Conducting regular site audits and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing stock levels of cleaning materials and consumables to maintain service continuity
- Organising resources effectively across sites to meet operational demands
- Monitoring performance, addressing any HR or performance issues, and supporting colleague development
- Managing site financials, including budgets, cost control, and ensuring delivery within agreed client parameters
Proven experience managing cleaning operations across multiple sites, ideally within an industrial environment - A hands-on, proactive leader who is confident managing large teams
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and cleaning standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Well-organised with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites as required
