Ground Helper

As a Ground Helper, you will play an important role in maintaining the company's outdoor areas to a high standard, ensuring the grounds are clean, safe, and presentable for customers, colleagues, and visitors. You will support day-to-day grounds maintenance activities and help deliver a consistent, high-quality service. The Role

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all grounds, paths, pavements, and entrances
• Clear litter, weeds, brush, and debris daily
• Water flowers, plants, lawns, and turf areas as required
• Support general gardening tasks such as weeding, trimming, mulching, planting, and edging
• Assist with mowing, fertilising, seeding, and maintaining healthy grass areas
• Remove dirt from pavements and driveways
• Support special landscaping or planting projects when required
• Take care of groundskeeping tools, equipment, and supplies
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety and manual handling procedures
• Report hazards, near misses, or maintenance issues to your supervisor or manager
• Help ensure the grounds are safe and usable for guests and visitors at all times, This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in their environment, and wants to be part of a team delivering a high-quality grounds maintenance service.

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Basic knowledge of Health, Safety, and manual handling (desirable)
