Full Job Description

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Skilled in fencing, paving, drainage, concrete laying, brick laying, and general groundworks
  • Basic roof guttering experience is preferred
  • Groundworking qualification (e.g. NVQ or equivalent) - desirable
  • Flexible and reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Comfortable using mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones
  • Able to use email and basic IT systems confidently
  • Other Requirements:
  • A Basic DBS check is required (arranged by BFL)
  • A Full UK Driving licence
  • If you hold any relevant qualifications, we'll need to see the original certificates

  • What You'll Be Doing:
  • Follow Health & Safety standards, Safe Systems of Work, and PPE requirements
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent BFL professionally
  • Carry out general groundworks (fencing, paving, drainage, concreting, brickwork) and site maintenance
  • Remove and safely dispose of waste, keeping areas clean and tidy
  • Operate tools and equipment safely; report defects and maintain vehicles
  • Complete records accurately, manage materials efficiently, and meet performance targets while supporting safeguarding
