Grill Chef - Please Sir London Ltd - Wembley

We're looking for a confident, hardworking Grill Chef to join the Please Sir! team. Please Sir! is all about serving seriously good smash burgers, quickly and consistently, while keeping the energy high and the standards even higher. We're looking for someone who can handle a busy grill, work well under pressure and become a reliable part of our team.The Role As a Grill Chef, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking our menu to the Please Sir! standard, with a particular focus on our signature smash burgers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cooking and smashing burgers on the grill to specification
• Preparing and cooking other menu items and sides
• Following recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
• Managing multiple orders during busy service
• Preparing and maintaining your station before, during and after service
• Completing food preparation and stock rotation
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Monitoring stock levels and communicating shortages
• Following allergen and food safety procedures
• Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly
• Cleaning down equipment and kitchen areas at the end of service
  
  Experience working on a grill or in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred, but attitude is just as important to us as experience.
