We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our busy Communications team to help us to deliver engaging content for our residents, staff, and stakeholders. We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning, on brand designs and artwork for a variety of platforms that attract and engage our audience. You will help build our brand identity through accurate, considered artwork, and effective concepts. Supporting the wider team to help tell their stories by delivering engaging design to make a significant impact. If you have a keen eye for detail, a flair for design and a passion for visual storytelling, this is the chance to use your creativity to make a difference. What will you be doing? As Graphic Designer, you will work with colleagues in the Communications team to understand each brief and the problem we are trying to solve. You will work with your colleagues to decide on concepts and agreed outputs and meet agreed deadlines and milestones. You will create captivating campaigns and deliver designs for our websites, publications, social media, print materials, and presentations. You will ensure all designs follow our brand guidelines and maintain consistency in look and feel. Based on feedback you will update designs to meet expectations and fit our audience needs. Additionally, you will create and edit high-quality graphics, photos, and videos for various platforms. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, to create innovative designs. The ideal candidate will work well in a fast-paced environment and handle changing demands, with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills. Alongside excellent graphic design skills the ideal candidate can edit high-quality video and audio content, take great photographs, and can contribute creatively to the conversation. It would be beneficial if you have experience with long-term projects or campaigns that are related to Housing.
