Full Job Description
As our Graphic Designer, you'll bring our brand to life across a wide range of platforms. From fundraising campaigns and event branding to social media, print materials, and digital content, your work will help us stand out and connect with our audiences.
You'll collaborate with teams across the organisation, delivering creative solutions that are both visually compelling and accessible. You'll also play a key role in maintaining and evolving our brand, ensuring consistency and high standards across everything we produce.
What you'll be doing
+ Designing high-quality creative assets for print and digital (including brochures, social media, websites, and campaigns)
+ Managing design projects from concept through to delivery
+ Supporting and developing the Derian House brand across all departments
+ Preparing artwork for print and liaising with external suppliers
+ Creating engaging visuals that sensitively reflect emotional stories
+ Contributing creative ideas for campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives
+ Keeping up to date with design trends and best practices, At Derian House, you'll be part of a passionate and supportive team where your work has real purpose. Every design you create will help us reach more families, raise vital funds, and make a meaningful impact.
+ Experience in a graphic design role with strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
+ A creative thinker with a passion for design and attention to detail
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
+ Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with a variety of stakeholders
+ Experience designing for digital platforms and understanding of brand guidelines
+ A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to learn and innovate
+ A Degree in Creative Design/Design and Marketing
Desirable:
+ Experience in a marketing environment
+ Photography skills
+ High level I.T Skills

At Derian House we help children and young people, whose lives are too short, to make happy memories in an environment of fun, respect and above all, high quality care.
We provide respite and end-of-life care to more than 400 children and young people across the North West. We do this 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We never close to those who need us.
Our ethos is to make sure that every child and young person who comes to Derian is able to make the very most of the time they have.
