Quokka Education is working with one of Hampshire's leading secondary schools in Winchester, offering graduates the opportunity to gain valuable experience as Learning Support Assistants and Cover Supervisors.
It's a great opportunity to build your confidence, develop practical classroom skills and discover whether teaching is the right career for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting students in lessons as a Learning Support Assistant
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons as a Cover Supervisor when you're ready
- Learning classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Building confidence working with different age groups
- Gaining valuable experience before applying for teacher training
We Won't Throw You in at the Deep End!
We believe proper preparation makes all the difference.
Wherever possible, we'll arrange induction and taster days so you can observe experienced teachers, understand how classrooms work and get familiar with the school's routines and expectations.
You'll have the chance to build your confidence before taking on more responsibility.
