Full Job Description

Candidates with a good degree in psychology are invited to apply for the post of Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford. The department has recently moved to its new home in The Life and Mind building.
The postholder will work closely with Professor Anke Ehlers and the Oxford Center for Anxiety Disorders and Trama team on research evaluations of psychological treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder and social anxiety disorder, including therapist-assisted internet-delivered cognitive therapies and their roll-out into the NHS.
The successful applicant will assist in the administration of clinical trials of psychological treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder and social anxiety disorder, liaise with trial therapists and participants, edit training materials for a therapist training website and online therapy modules, liase with web developers and users of the internet-delivered therapies, interview participants, and assist with data entry and analysis.
This role is fixed term until 31 March 2028, and is full-time (37.5 hours per week). Part-time will be considered, with a minimum of 0.8 FTE., Applications for this vacancy are to be made online. Applicants should have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, good understanding of computers and software, knowledge of statistics and experimental design. Prior experience of working with people with PTSD and/or social anxiety disorder is desirable.
