Graduate Product Management Engineer

This role is part of our 2027 Graduate programme and will start in September 2027. Following the Company's extensive onboarding and introduction program, you will join our Graduate Development programme that includes: Technical Classroom training, Soft-skills training, Team building, Corporate responsibility activities and finally placement across all our marketing, operations and process teams. It is not required for you to already have the skills and knowledge to perform the role, full on the job training will be provided through our graduate develop scheme. You will then be welcomed into your Team and continue your development supported by your SPTS mentor! Product Marketing Introduction: The Product Marketing team within SPTS are involved in various aspects of the marketing function including supporting systems sales efforts and setting product roadmaps. Starting with qualifying the sales opportunity, answering questions from the sales team/customer, responding to customer specifications and visit customer sites to progress sales prospects. In the factory, alongside engineering, product marketing arrange and manage customer demos, and when circumstances allow, host live demos with customers on site. Through interaction with various resources including the customer base, suppliers and analysts the product marketing team develop an understanding of our markets and position within those markets aiming to contribute to the overall product development and planning processes. For product development activities, the team create and prioritise roadmap targets. This involves setting the scene for the division to follow using the KLA Product Life Cycle (PLC) process. Product Marketing's responsibilities don't stop after the sales process has been completed. The team assist the account teams providing updates on product development, market trends and acting as the customer representative in any factory-based work. There may also be opportunities to work with Corporate Marketing on the creation of promotional materials and attendance (virtual or in person) at trade shows/technical conferences. This position may also involve occasional international travel. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Product roadmap definition
• Long-term forecasting
• Generation and presentation of marketing collateral
• Coordination and/or response to customer specification documents
• Ownership of boiler plate specification documentation for field reference.
• Generating Throughput and Cost-of-Ownership (CoO) data using industry-standard models
• Generating and updating System Configuration Documents (SCD) to define manufacturing builds
• Sample demonstration coordination with engineering and account teams
• Hosting customer visits for live demonstrations or show & tell
• Developing and maintaining contacts with customers and suppliers
• Writing and submitting abstracts and papers to relevant conferences and trade shows

• Can think logically to provide customer solutions with a good attention to detail and foresight and ability to collect, filter and analyse data to build solutions for complex technological problems
• Has the ability to think creatively of novel but practical solutions to customer problems
• Is able to demonstrate strong communication skills - You'll enjoy establishing and maintaining good working relationships with both customers and colleagues., Minimum Bachelor's Degree (2:1) in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Material Science.
• Applicants with a Master's Degree or prior experience of studies within the semiconductor industry would be desirable but certainly not a must.
• A good acquaintance with SW tools (MS Office especially PowerPoint, Excel and Co-Pilot) would be advantageous., BSc / BEng / BA
