Full Job Description

  • Remediation system monitoring and optimisation
  • Contaminated land site investigation and monitoring
  • Collection of soil and groundwater samples/data during assessment and remedial activities at sites throughout the UK
  • Management of subcontractors during assessment and remedial activities at contaminated sites
  • Support the design and installation of in-situ and ex-situ remedial systems and technologies, including soil and groundwater treatment methods
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and environmental scientists on project tasks
  • Travel throughout the UK for site work, including working away when required

    BSc or BEng in Environmental Science, Geology, Geography or a related subject
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with close attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn hands-on practical skills required to design and implement remediation technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following precise protocols
  • Motivated, friendly and confident when interacting with clients and the public
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK, including working away when required
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, We seek professional and personable individuals who possess a good knowledge foundation, excellent organisational skills, a high level of initiative, self-motivation and a willingness to learn hands-on practical skills. Relevant experience is desirable but not essential - this role offers successful applicants the chance to learn technical and project management skills in the workplace.
