Graduate Planner

To efficiently and effectively validate and register planning applications and to professionally process 'notification', 'householder' and 'other' planning applications and workload up to or at a level consistent with these types of applications.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of planning legislation and procedures. They should be comfortable interacting with elected members, statutory consultees, the private sector, and the wider community.

What you will do:

To efficiently and effectively process development management workload.

To efficiently validate and register planning applications etc. and register planning enforcement complaints, in accordance with legislation and/or locally adopted processes and procedures.

To efficiently publicise planning applications etc. in accordance with relevant legislation and/or locally adopted processes and procedures.

To efficiently consult on planning applications etc. in accordance with relevant legislation and/or locally adopted processes and procedures.

To assist in the processing of planning appeals.

To provide advice to applicants, agents, consultees and the public on the validation, registration, publicity and consultation of planning applications etc. and on general planning related queries.
