Full Job Description

  • Learn and apply the aerospace standards and processes as per DO-254
  • Participate in decomposing system requirements to firmware requirements
  • Participate in producing technical documentation, work instruction or guidelines
  • Support system level integration testing
  • Liaise closely with other teams such as systems, hardware, software and project management
  • Promote STEM careers at Collins through events and activities with schools and universities.
    • In this role you will have the opportunity to work on exciting aerospace projects which will help develop your engineering and personal skills in a practical environment.

  • You must hold a minimum 2:2 STEM degree or joint-honours degree that combines a STEM subject with another, ideally Electronics Engineering.
  • Proficiency in VHDL coding and algorithms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise own work
  • Ability to build strong relationships and be a team player
  • A can do, find a way, attitude
  • Experience of delivering high quality work to a deadline
  • Creativity, initiative, diplomacy, self-motivation and self-confidence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
