Full Job Description
Our Environmental Planning team is seeking graduates with diverse skills and interests to join our growing practice. From day one, you'll be part of a collaborative community of experts, supported and mentored as you develop your career. You'll contribute to high-profile UK-wide projects across everything from urban residential and strategic land development to large-scale infrastructure schemes in the water, energy, and transport sectors. You'll support project delivery, contribute to environmental assessments, and help shape strategies that promote sustainable outcomes. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Supporting site visits, surveys, field investigations, and undertaking statutory and non-statutory impact assessments.
- Conducting desk studies, data analysis, risk assessments, identifying environmental risks, and proposing effective mitigation solutions.
- Preparing clear, concise technical reports, environmental impact assessment (EIA) documentation, and planning deliverables.
- Managing small-scale project delivery and budgets, as well as contributing to bids, tenders, and client proposals.
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders and representing the business at industry events.
- Staying current with environmental legislation and best practices, sharing technical knowledge, and contributing to team development. You will be encouraged and supported to work towards professional chartership early in your career with relevant institutes, such as the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) .
