Graduate Cover Supervisor

We're working with a range of well-regarded secondary schools across Andover and the surrounding areas, who are looking for graduates to join them as Cover Supervisors.

No prior school experience is required.

We're looking for people who can communicate effectively, stay calm under pressure, and take responsibility in a classroom environment. From day one, you'll be supported with training, guidance, and the opportunity to gain school experience before stepping into the role.

You'll step in when teachers are absent, ensuring lessons continue smoothly and students stay on track.

This includes:
- Supervising lessons using pre-prepared resources
- Keeping students engaged and focused throughout
- Managing behaviour in line with school expectations
- Following school policies and daily routines
- Feeding back to teaching staff after lessons

This is a great option if you're considering teaching but want to explore it first.

You'll gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence leading groups, and develop skills that will benefit you in any career.

If you decide to move into teaching, we can support you with introductions to local training providers, including salaried routes to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
