Responsibilities As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll be part of this exciting programme from the start, gaining hands-on experience of Civil Engineering across major infrastructure projects. You'll work alongside experienced Engineering professionals building your knowledge, developing your skills and working towards a successful career in Civil Engineering. You'll be supported throughout your development, with opportunities to build your technical knowledge, gain professional experience and work towards your longer-term career goals. - A 2:2 degree or above BEng or MEng/MSc Degree in Civil or Structural engineering
- Good knowledge and experience of undertaking structural calculations for various concrete structures not limited to slabs, beams, liquid retaining structures, etc using the British Standard Codes, Eurocodes, and other acceptable standards not limited to Ciria Guidance, BRE, etc Good written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable experience in undertaking design of various civil engineering structures within the Water and Wastewater Industry and exhibit high competency in the use of MS office suite and relevant engineering software packages not limited to TEDDS by Tecla, Staad Pro, AutoCAD, Robot, CIVIL3D, Revit, etc
- The ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
- An interest in infrastructure, construction or the built environment
- A full UK driving licence, or the ability to travel between project locations where required We welcome applications from candidates outside the region who are willing and able to relocate or travel to Peterborough and the East Anglia Region.
