Graduate Broadcast Engineer

As a Graduate NOC Operator, your duties will include:

• Monitoring and maintaining the quality of incoming and outgoing broadcast video and audio signals
• Performing integrity checks and ensuring system performance across transmission networks
• Coordinating live services with clients, satellite operators, and third-party providers
• Logging and reporting technical faults and service disruptions
• Using scheduling and booking systems to confirm live event details and studio requirements
• Supporting studio and transmission teams with basic operational tasks (e.g., routing, switching, monitoring)
• Gaining familiarity with essential broadcast standards such as HD-SDI, DVB-S/S2, MPEG, ASI, and more
  
  Eager to begin a career in live broadcast operations or media technology
• Comfortable working in a shift-based environment (including nights, weekends, holidays)
• Clear communicators with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Quick learners with a strong interest in technical systems and signal flow
• Capable of remaining calm under pressure in a live broadcast setting
• Educated to degree or equivalent level in a relevant subject (e.g., Media Technology, Broadcast Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science
