Graduate Bid Writer

The Assistant Bid Manager opportunity is a trainee position that offers a full training and development plan for someone who wants to develop a career in work winning. As a Graduate Bid Writer you will:

• Learn and develop the necessary bid writing skills to be able to develop a career in bid writing in the rail industry Assist in the full bid quality submission process including Managing deliverable schedules Developing storyboards Developing written responses to tender questions Review responses Assist in the timely completion of pre-qualification questionnaires Assist in managing the Bid Library Maintain CVs Assist in producing case studies of completed projected. You will build and maintain relationships with other departments and functions including key subject matter experts, You will be a graduate in English or Journalism or other relevant degree You will have excellent communication skills with demonstrable evidence of ability to produce written responses You will be creative and have proven IT skills You will be interested in a career in bid writing in the rail industry and be keen to develop industry knowledge Previous experience within the Railway, Commercial, Construction or comparable industry is desirable but not essential Proven IT skills and proficient in MS office applications Ability to organise and plan Attention to detail Ability to manage time, prioritise and juggle multiple priorities A team player If your past experience doesn't match perfectly with every requirement of the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
