GP Receptionist

We are looking to recruit a receptionist to join our team experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of quality reception service to visitors and ideally will bring NHS experience to the practice.,

• You will respond to all requests by patients requiring appointments with members of the clinical team, ensuring adherence to practice protocols for booking appointments and signposting to alternative services as appropriate
• You will explain practice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients and those seeking temporary cover, ensuring procedures to add these patients to the clinical system are completed.
  
  You will be able to use your own judgment and communication skills to ensure that patients with no prior appointment but who need urgent consultation are seen in a logical and non-disruptive manner
