Job Overview

We're looking for talented GP's to join our team onsite at HCA UK Primary Care London. We are the UK's largest private patient GP employer, experiencing an exciting period of expansion. Role Responsibilities

As a General Practitioner / Health Screener at HCA UK Primary Care, you'll provide comprehensive primary care for an adult population actively investing in their health. Your duties include engaging with patients, exploring medical histories, addressing concerns, performing examinations, arranging investigations, providing guidance, prescribing, discussing options, treatments, and delivering expert advice.

With advanced health screenings, you'll have time for lifestyle and coaching conversations, exploring patients' goals, supporting behaviour change, and developing actionable health plans.

You will also perform procedures such as blood draws, smear tests, and ECGs. During the initial weeks, you'll shadow current GPs with a protected diary, gradually starting to see patients as you learn the ropes. Our doctors consistently comment on our excellent induction program.

Work Environment & Schedule

At HCA UK, you'll have the time to care, the tools to succeed, and the flexibility to enjoy life outside work with structured pre-booked appointments within office hours. GP appointments are 15 minutes, and health screens range from 30 minutes up to 2 hours depending on the test.

Qualifications & Skills

• GMC registered


• Strong communication and IT skills


• A proactive, patient-first approach with a genuine interest in preventative and lifestyle medicine coaching


• Training provided on 'Advanced' Health Screening


• Private patient experience is desirable but not essential
