We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed GP to join our team for 2-4 sessions per week, available on Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Fridays. We are flexible on the pattern and happy to work around the right candidate. We may appoint more than one GP. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking for part-time work with a friendly practice that values its staff and is careful not to overwhelm its clinicians., Modern facilities: Air-conditioned consulting rooms, EMIS clinical system. • Dermatology: One GP Partner runs longstanding weekly dermatology GPSI clinics for Haringey practices at Westbury - excellent opportunity for a permanent GP to develop skills in this area
• Substance Misuse: Westbury is a hub site for Haringey Substance Misuse Shared Care service. Three of our GPs are OST prescribers (methadone and buprenorphine) - opportunity for permanent GPs to get involved (would require RCGP Part 1 Substance Misuse certification in due course)
• Medical Student Teaching: We teach medical students from UCL/Royal Free Medical School, with opportunities to get involved
• GP Training: The Surgery recently became an Approved Learning Environment. We do not currently host GP Registrars, but this is a development area for the Surgery and for a permanent GP with an interest in training, it would attract additional remuneration.
• Clinical Supervision: We have an established physician associate team, and our weekly clinical meeting includes supporting and supervising them. A GP with an interest in clinical supervision and education would be well placed to take a role in this, which would attract additional remuneration.
• Leadership Connections: One GP Partner is an Appraiser, the other sits on the Board of Haringey Federation and LMC. In this way, our Surgery is regularly aware of developments in primary care
  
  Westbury Medical Centre is a friendly, established GP practice in Wood Green, North London, serving approximately 12,000 patients. We pride ourselves on being a traditional yet modern practice with excellent staff retention and a supportive team environment.
