Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed GP to join our friendly, supporting, and motivated practice in Putney, South West London. You will be covering a maternity post for 12 months from the beginning of August 2026. Full indemnity paid and £250 annual wellbeing allowance. Any GP that joins our team will feel very supported by professionals allied to medicine. We also have a GP with a special interest in dermatology and skin surgery. All these expert staff allows us to keep much of treatment and care in-house. We have circa 23k patients but our catchment area is small and most patients live within walking distance or a short bus/bike ride. Because Wandsworth is such a young borough we don't have as many frail elderly as some parts of the country and this means that we don't have high numbers of home visits.It would be highly unusual to have more than one per week and during the pandemic they have been even more infrequent., We operate a triage model that combines telephone and online triage. We also offer a large number of face to face appointments that are either requested by the patient for complex issues or booked by the GP on the basis of the triage conversation., 15 minute face to face appointments Part of the on call rota Admin work - there are hardly any letters to look at, as we have a specialist coding team who take care of this Opportunity to participate in the triage rota

  • Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
  • MRCGP or equivalent, Experience of working in General Practice
