Enjoying General Practice is a must. A successful candidate will work well within our team and engage with how the practice is run allowing autonomy and flexibility within the working week. In addition to routine Primary care patient facing and remote consultations and administrative tasks we support development of personal skills and interests in both clinical and non-clinical areas., Based at Forest Hall Surgery 6 - 8 sessions per week. We are a GP Training practice. Medical students (University of Newcastle and Sunderland). Systm1. Strong multi- disciplinary team. Highly engaged in local Network Competitive Salary of £10,000+ per session (depending on experience). Support for development of special interests. Starting ASAP willing to wait for the right people. BMA contract (or better!) 7 weeks holiday + Bank Holidays. We are looking to expand our GP team with enthusiastic and innovative GPs to join our team based at Forest Hall Surgery in North Tyneside.
Happy to invite applicants from soon to qualify GPs or GPs with decades of experience, and everyone in between! Together with "routine GP work" our GPs have various interests individually including leading within the Primary Care Network, training medical students, minor surgery and other clinical leads and we actively support this. Additional income can be achieved with roles of responsibility so if you have an area of interest I'm sure we can make it work.
We would be keen to recruit someone who is a trainer or who has an interest in becoming a trainer within the practice., We offer the opportunity to be a part of the changing face of General Practice and as a Practice we are heavily involved with our local Primary Care Network. Currently we have a diverse clinical team comprising of GPs, Advanced Care Practitioners, Mental Health workers, Practice Nurses, HCAs based over three sites.
We offer 7 weeks annual leave. Regular training session afternoon closing for education (off site). Organised internally or ICB/PCN Time Out sessions.
