Governance & Compliance Officer

Insignis Academy Trust (IAT) requires that its Governance & Compliance Officer will be working closely under the direction of the Head of Governance and Compliance, the Governance and Compliance Officer will support the administration, coordination, and delivery of the Trust's governance framework and statutory compliance operations.

The Governance & Compliance Officer will assist in ensuring that the Trust Board, its committees, and Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) operate effectively, comply with the Academy Trust Handbook, and maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

You will be based at the IAT Central offices in Aylesbury. However, you may be required to work at premises occupied by the employer or any of the employer's Academies, within a 25-mile radius, as directed by the employer.

Insignis Academy Trust operates rigorous 'safer recruitment' practices, and the successful candidates will be required to undertake the completion of satisfactory checks including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, medical report, confirmation of qualifications, documentation to prove Right to Work in the UK and a prohibition from teaching check.
