Goods Inwards / Despatch Inspector

Ultra CEMS is looking for a Goods Inwards / Despatch Inspector. In role of the Goods Inwards Operator , you will be managing the receipt of all incoming goods via our MPS system, assisting in Despatch & Stores as required,

• Ensuring materials are receipted and available for storage and kitting, for production in an orderly and timely way.
• Receive and sign for delivered goods , process accordingly
• Verify and accept procured product in line with purchase orders and quality management system
• Checking and validating supplier delivery paperwork and certificates of conformance
• Check and complete all paperwork associated with the delivered article
• Control defect items via segregation from good product. Raise and issue relevant query forms
• Controlling traceability and shelf-life issues for key materials.
• Interacting with stores operators, Supply Chain , Planning , Quality and production staff on daily needs and issues.
• Working to team KPI's to control processes and key materials.
• General Picking and packing duties in line with Despatch cover
• Contribute to the maintenance of an orderly and safe working environment
• Drive the forklift to move / unload
• Drive other company vehicles when needed
  
  Must be able to demonstrate the capability of working in a pressurised, deadline driven environment
• Good communication skills, verbal and written, are required.
• Computer literacy, with confidence in the use of standard computer packages, will need to be demonstrated
• Fork Lift licence desirable
• Drivers licence
• Flexible approach to tasks, Candidates must be able to work in the UK without restrictions in accordance with UK National Law and be prepared to successfully undertake an appropriate level of UK National Security Vetting according to UK Government National Security Vetting criteria.
