Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you lead QBE's global 24/7 security operations and incident response, ensuring consistent governance and rapid remediation across regions. You work with senior stakeholders to strengthen the security posture and drive resilience and continuous improvement. You'll guide cross-functional teams in incident handling, reporting, and compliance, and contribute to the organization's strategic risk management. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role with a clear impact on protecting business operations. Pay / Benefits

• Lead global security operations and 24/7 incident response across regions Own and standardize security operations and incident response processes Oversee cyber incident management including escalation, communications, and executive reporting Drive SOC2 Type II certification and ongoing security standards compliance Develop and deliver reporting and metrics for executive leadership and the Board Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned to NIST and industry best practice Tasks Extensive experience in security operations, incident response, or broader cybersecurity functions Proven leadership experience managing technical, global or distributed teams Strong technical understanding across security technologies, infrastructure, and cloud environments Key requirements 30 days holiday with option to buy up to 2 days Flexible working Pension with 10% employer contributions Private medical insurance for employee and family Family-friendly policies (leave) Short term remote work abroad up to 20 days/year
