We're looking for a Global People Services Specialist to join our growing Global People Services team and play a key role in delivering a seamless recruitment and onboarding experience across Sage. In this role, you'll work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, Hiring Managers and colleagues across the People function, supporting high-volume recruitment activity and ensuring candidates have a positive experience from application through to their first day. Overview of the Team Our Global People Services team is a fast-paced, customer-focused function that supports colleagues and candidates across Sage. We partner closely with Talent Acquisition and our Centres of Expertise to deliver efficient, consistent and scalable recruitment and onboarding services globally. As part of this team, you'll work with stakeholders around the world, helping to attract exceptional talent while ensuring every new starter receives a smooth and engaging onboarding experience.   • Office Location Newcastle, UK Hybrid Working - 3 days per week in our Newcastle office and 2 days from home. Key Responsibilities You'll play a vital role in supporting our recruitment and onboarding operations, including:
  • Supporting the design and implementation of operational delivery models for high-volume recruitment activity.
  • Scheduling interviews and coordinating effectively with Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers.
  • Managing pre-employment screening and background checks in line with regional legal requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate vacancy and candidate information across our people systems.
  • Partnering with Digital Services teams to ensure recruitment data is accurate and up to date.
  • Working alongside Global Mobility teams to provide a seamless experience for international hires and transfers.
  • Supporting candidates throughout the onboarding journey and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Processing employee referral rewards and ensuring appropriate payroll administration.
  • Advising managers on onboarding processes and responding to requests through ServiceNow.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment and onboarding processes while delivering excellent service.

  • Demonstrable experience supporting recruitment activities within large, complex organisations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence using a range of systems and tools.
  • Experience delivering an excellent candidate experience through email and telephone communication.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a high-volume environment.
  • A resilient, solution-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service and improving processes.
