Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Global Meetings & Events Associate Director to lead the delivery of its Global Meetings strategy. This role involves overseeing vendor performance, establishing operational governance, and implementing innovative solutions that align with Vertex's mission. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in meeting and event planning as well as project management.
You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, foster strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while traveling domestically and globally at least 30-40% of the time.
