Global Head of Operational Security Risk Management

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Global Head of Operational Security Risk Management is a leadership role responsible for driving the management of operational cyber risk across Serco's global operations, supplier ecosystem and regional businesses.
You will own Serco's global supplier cyber security strategy and third-party risk management framework. Acting as a key link between the Global Cyber function, business leaders and regional security teams, you will help strengthen cyber resilience while balancing global standards with local operational and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
Lead and evolve Serco's Operational Cyber Risk Management Framework, strengthening governance, resilience and risk visibility across the organisation.Drive the integration of cyber security into enterprise risk management, operational resilience and business decision-making.Ensure cyber security requirements are embedded throughout the supplier lifecycle, from procurement and onboarding through to assurance and offboarding.Lead and develop the global community of Divisional Information Security Officers (DISOs), driving alignment between enterprise strategy and regional execution.Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, ensuring cyber security is embedded within transformation programmes and operational priorities.Represent Cyber Security across executive governance forums, risk committees and key supplier relationships.Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Serco's global cyber strategy, operating model and resilience capability.
What You'll Bring

Significant leadership experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, Operational Risk, Security Governance or Third-Party Risk Management.Proven success leading cyber risk, operational resilience, supplier security, governance programmes within large, complex organisations.Strong understanding of cyber risk management, third-party risk, operational resilience and security governance frameworks.Experience operating across global, matrix environments with diverse regulatory requirements.Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at executive level.Strong commercial awareness and experience partnering with Procurement, Legal, Risk and Compliance functions.The ability to translate complex cyber risks into practical business outcomes and strategic decisions.SC clearance, or the ability to obtain it.Why Serco?This is a rare opportunity to shape cyber resilience across a global organisation delivering critical public services.
