An opportunity as arisen for a suitably trained radiographer to join our team.

We are excited to be advertising for an enhanced practice radiographer to undertake various GI examinations. The candidate must be able to undertake and report Ba Swallows but may also have additional skills and qualifications.

As part of this role, the candidate would have their own weekly list supported by our team of Consultant Radiologists. The candidate would also become part of our Interventional Radiology team and be required to undertake on call duties for this.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking department. We are proud to be accredited by QSI and fortunate to be a University of Reading department showing our commitment to patient care and research.

Main duties of the job

  • To perform and report barium swallow studies
  • To perform other fluoroscopic examinations in line with competencies and qualifications
  • To be a member of the Interventional Radiology team and undertake on-call duties
