Geriatric / Orthogeriatric Medicine Consultant

As a Consultant Geriatrician, you will provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care for older patients, including acute frailty management, community hospital input, and support for our Front Door Frailty team. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings across our 72-bed Frailty Unit.
• Participating in the general medicine on-call rota (1:13 overnight, Monday-Thursday) and specialty weekend cover (1 in 6).
• Delivering outpatient clinics and supporting discharge planning.
• Contributing to clinical governance, audit, and research, with dedicated SPA time for CPD and teaching.
• Working collaboratively to develop services and mentor junior doctors and ACPs.
