Full Job Description
- Collect, manage and analyse geospatial data from a variety of sources.
- Get creative with maps, infographics and dashboards for reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with team members to integrate GIS with other data sources and apps.
- Enable informed decision making with advanced data analytics.
- Maintain GIS databases to high standards of accuracy and integrity.
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technology and industry trends.
Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field. - Demonstrable proficiency in GIS software, typically ESRI product suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with elevated attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, building strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Appetite to develop innovative solutions that inspire both clients and colleagues.
- Driven and motivated to succeed, with a high level of personal accountability. Desirable Skills:
- Experience of applied GIS in controlled environments, e.g. nuclear and defence.
- Experience with programming languages e.g. SQL, Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with task automation e.g. FME, Microsoft Power Automate.
- Experience designing and authoring web applications in AGOL or ArcGIS Portal.
- Experience with survey, geomatics and imagery data.
