Berkeley McRock Shepherd Ltd is seeking a Geopolitical Risk Analyst with advanced academic expertise in defence studies, political science, and international relations. The role involves specialised research and analysis of geopolitical risk, global security, and defence policy, with the candidate's PhD providing the necessary expertise for high-level analytical research and structured policy insights. Main duties include:
- Conduct specialised research on geopolitical and defence-related issues
- Analyse international relations, conflict dynamics, and policy developments
- Produce high-level research reports and analytical publications
- Monitor global political and security trends
- Support advisory work relating to geopolitical and regulatory risk
- Contribute to ESG and governance-related analysis
PhD in Defence Studies, Political Science, or International Relations - Demonstrated expertise in geopolitical and security analysis
- Strong research and analytical writing capability
- Ability to interpret complex policy and global developments
