Full Job Description

Introduction

This is an opportunity to achieve a Level 6 degree apprenticeship while working within the Data team of a large housing association, the Abri Group, to develop your creative and technical skills.

The length of this apprenticeship is five years and it requires day release one day per week for in-person training at UEL (London).

What You'll Do

  • Assist in capturing, maintaining, and updating spatial data within GIS databases
  • Produce accurate maps and spatial visualisations to support business projects and operational teams
  • Carry out spatial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure GIS datasets are accurate, consistent, and comply with organisational data standards
  • Support the maintenance and development of GIS applications and Web maps
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to understand and meet mapping and spatial data requirements
  • Any other duties as required for the role


Training Outcome

Ideally, a permanent GIS role would become available at the end of the apprentice's five-year fixed term contract and they would be invited to apply.
